P.E Nation co-founder Claire Greaves has made the decision to step back from the day-to-day running the activewear business.

It comes after a decade since Greaves and fellow co-founder Pip Edwards founded the business.

According to a statement from P.E Nation, Greaves will remain on the board of the company and will retain her shareholding, with Pip Edwards taking on the reins alongside the other board of directors.

"The business has secured and developed an extremely strong product and design team," the statement read. "Pip and the company are in complete support of Claire’s transition to pursue other creative endeavours and wish her the absolute best in her next chapter."

Prior to launching P.E Nation alongside Edwards, Greaves began her fashion career at TopShop in London. Two years in, she founded her own label called Maise, which led to her appointment as senior designer at Sass & Bide as a denim and knitwear specialist.

The news follows a recent activation at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival, where P.E Nation hosted a solo runway at the Grand Solo Showcase.

Today, P.E Nation operates a flagship store in Sydney as well as a outlet store in Liverpool, alongside an online ecommerce website. It is also sold through David Jones alongside other retail wholesalers.
