Australian athleisure brand P.E Nation will host a solo runway at PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival (PMFF) in 2024.

Called the Grand Solo Showcase, it will be the only solo runway at PMFF during the second week of the program - called the Premium Runway Series.

P.E Nation confirmed in a LinkedIn post that the solo runway will coincide with a repositioning of the brand in its eighth year of operation.

It also comes six years after P.E Nation won the National Designer Award - a commemoration hosted by PMFF and presented by David Jones.

P.E Nation’s solo runway will join a week-long schedule of group runways held at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne.

According to PMFF, the Premium Runway Series will feature 85 designers - 65% of which originate from Victoria - across 12 shows from Monday, March 4.

Key fashion labels joining the week-long runway series include Aje, Ngali, Bassike, Sass & Bide, MJ Bale, Manning Cartell, Gary Bigeni and HoMie.

“This year we are further cementing PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival as Australia’s only true consumer major event in Fashion,” PMFF CEO Caroline ‘Ralph’ Ralphsmith said.

“A true fashion destination – where fashion lovers, industry insiders and voyeurs all gather to celebrate and support the extraordinary rich tapestry that is the Melbourne and Victorian fashion industry.”
