Under Armour Australia has revealed how its collaboration collection with Virgin Galactic is performing among Australian customers.

Under Armour Australia MD Fernando Reani told Ragtrader that since launching the capsule collection on the local website, it has become the most-viewed range on the site.

"It is exceeding our sell-through expectations.

"The Unisex UA x Virgin Galactic Flight Jacket has been the most popular item in the collection," he said.

The collection follows Under Armour's alignment with Virgin Galactic in 2019, which saw the brand develop and release the spacewear system for the world’s first commercial spaceline, which reached space on July 11 2021.

Reani added the same technology that's in the spacesuits is also in the capsule collection.

"Under Armour’s vision of providing athletes with performance solutions they never knew they needed and can’t imagine living without, truly comes to life with the Virgin Galactic partnership and capsule collection.

"This amazing achievement is one of those rare moments of global relevance and we have been waiting in anticipation to release the capsule collection to Australian consumers.

"With the UA Rush and Recover technologies in both spacesuits and the capsule collection, UA offers the latest and greatest performance solutions to all athletes," he said.

The Under Armour x Virgin Galactic capsule collection is available now and retails for between $90 and $200.
