PVH Corp-owned brand Tommy Hilfiger has announced that it has launched Alipay in its Australian stores.
Launched in 2004, Alipay currently serves over 1.2 billion users and is China's leading payment method.
Prior to launching in Australia, Tommy Hilfiger customers could use the payment service in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore in the APAC region.
"Through a partnership with Epay, Tommy Hilfiger Australia has launched the convenient and reliable Alipay mobile payment application at Tommy Hilfiger stores, offering an alternative, easier and secure shopping experience for customers," Tommy Hilfiger Australia said in a statement.
Tommy Hilfiger currently operates 30 stores across Australia.
The announcement was made on February 6.
