European accessories brand Kapten & Son will drop price points here in Australia and worldwide.

All three global offices - Melbourne, Germany and New York - converged late last year to discuss cost pricing, resulting in the decision of a 15% price drop globally.

Kapten & Son Australian managing director Christopher Telley said the decision was made by the brand in hopes of becoming more competitive in the market.

"Major players such as The Iconic and Surf Stitch gave us great insight (no brand data, just trends) into the watch market, as they are key players in this category. We all believe we have hit the sweet spot for today’s consumers."

The price drop has been implemented this week.
