It has collaborated with Versace and Missoni - now it's preparing to do the same in Australia.

Italian coffee brand Lavazza has revealed it will stage its first ever Australian runway event 'From Italy With Passion'.

The showcase will take place during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney 2014.

The event will be themed on the tradition of 'la passeggiata' - taking a short stroll in the evening.

Designer brands Nicola Finetti, Bianca Spender, Michael Lo Sordo and By Johnny will present their SS14 collections at Sydney Town Hall on September 26.

Guests will experience an Italian style cafe setting in the front row, whilst being served barista-made Lavazza coffee.

Lavazza recently collaborated with local fashion label LifeWithBird and appointed Australian blogger Nicole Warne as style consultant.

It has undertaken similar collaborations with Versace and Missoni.

Lavazza said this is its first year as an official sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Edition and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney.
