Swarovski has announced that its 2020 Crystal Lovers Week will support Australian flora and fauna following the devastating bushfires that ravaged the country over summer.

For every Crystal Living Nature item sold during Crystal Lovers Week, Swarovski will donate $20 to the Worldwide Fund for Nature Australia (WWF-Australia) to support reforestation efforts.

Swarovski Australia will also plant 24,000 trees this year to help reduce carbon in the atmosphere.

For the first time during 2020, the Crystal Lovers Week will be offered both in-store and online, evolving from the previous years' in-store only offerings.

The brand has also created a digital experience on its website where customers can connect to a 3D world inspired by Australia's bushlands and can make their way through a fact-finding journey with quizzes and games.

Swarovski marketing director Victoria Brown said that the new digital experience helps to enhance Crystal Lovers Week.

"This new digital offering will transform the Crystal Lovers Week experience, allowing customers to join in with the celebrations safely from the comfort of their own home.

"We look forward to celebrating with our customers whilst giving back to nature and supporting WWF-Australia’s reforestation efforts," she said.

Swarovski's Crystal Lovers Week will take place from September 10 to September 17.
