Cotton On is the first global retailer to make a direct-to-retail agreement with the US's National Football League (NFL).

Collaborating directly with the NFL, the Cotton On design team has produced a line of American inspired sport t-shirts, singlets and tops ahead of the 2015 Superbowl next month.

The brand's senior graphic designer Dan Kirsch said that authenticity was key in the design stage.

“Representing the teams and their assets in an authentic manner was crucial. Due to this, print techniques, print placement, shape, fabric and garment trims/patches were all considered.”

The collection will feature 8 styles for women and 12 for men and will be stocked in selected Cotton On stores in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and South East Asia.

Available online and in store, the collection will retail at $19.95 for one item or $30 for two.
