Iconic swimwear label Seafolly has added a new component to its business which could see sales soar globally.

The brand, which is currently sold in over 36 countries, has just launched an e-commerce portal, which for the first time will offer consumers the opportunity to buy direct.

The fledgling e-commerce platform will initially offer Australian customers exclusive access to the latest swimwear styles as well as free shipping and a delivery time of two to four days. Seafolly is currently in the process of also adding international shipping to its online facilities.

The site also provides online shoppers with Seafolly fitting specialists, available to assist customers in finding their desired swimsuit and offering a personalised customer service experience. A social media fuction on each page also allows customers to share their favourite designs via twitter, facebook or email in a single click.

In addition, Seafolly online offers customers full refunds within 31 days of purchase, a return policy which customers can claim in-store at Seafolly owned concept stores.

A spokesperson for the brand said the launch of the Seafolly site is the first of many developments for the business in 2012, including plans to expand its retail network and boost the brand's presence in selected overseas markets.
