Peloton, the interactive fitness platform, has today launched its private label apparel into Australia.

Following the launch of the exercise platform in Australia earlier this year, the business has brought its activewear to the Australian market.

The growing fitness platform boasts over 5.9 million members worldwide and anticipates strong uptake of its exercise offering and apparel in the Australian market.

"Health, fitness and sport is a central part of Australia's DNA, which is why it was a natural decision to launch Peloton in Australia as our first foray into the Asia Pacific region," Peloton MD International Kevin Cornils said of the expansion.

"Our global growth is fuelled by our passionate, growing community of over 5.9 million members who choose Peloton as their go-to fitness solution, anytime, anywhere," he said.

The Peloton apparel range includes a selection of men’s, women’s and gender-neutral styles in four key fabrics: Peloton Cadent, Lite Lines, Move Mission and Essential fabric.

The range has been wear-tested by real Peloton Members, non-members and Peloton’s own instructors doing workouts across the platform’s various fitness offerings to ensure every style is high-performing and body-inclusive.

Peloton VP of apparel Jill Foley welcomed the launch of the apparel collection in Australia.

"We know Australians take athleisure wear seriously and we’re excited to launch this new era of fashion – mixing comfort, casualness and functionality alongside our global community.

"In recent months, it has been great to see our Australian members as excited about our brand as we are, and we hope our new apparel will become as integral to their Peloton experience.

"It is important to us that our Aussie members also see apparel as an extension of the brand and community, and we are keen to encourage them to wear Peloton Apparel during their workouts and beyond," she said.

Peloton first began selling the apparel in 2014 as a direct response to member demand.

The collection includes sports bras, leggings, tees and tanks, shorts, jumpers and jackets, tracksuit pants and accessories.

Foley added that the range is designed to be worn throughout the day, not just for the workout.

"With each collection, we’re offering reliable pieces that support your sweatiest days, your busiest days, your rest days and beyond," she said.

"Our goal with this brand is to enhance our members’ lifestyles, not just one part of their day."

The collection is available to purchase online now and retails for between $24-$182.
