Patagonia Australia has reopened its stores across Australia, following two months of lockdowns.

Following government guidelines, the stores have opened with new health and safety measures in place including limiting in-store numbers, supporting 1.5-metre distancing, reduced hours, closed fitting rooms, complimentary sanitiser on arrival and a preference for cashless payments.

The business' Australian and New Zealand websites remain operational too, supporting those who still prefer to shop from home.

Patagonia Australia and New Zealand country director Dane O’Shanassy said that the business has used this time to plan ahead.

"A lot of people have been affected, many with devastating consequences.

"In Australia we’ve largely been lucky.

"Our health crisis has been well handled and we’ve not seen the impact on our community like manly other countries have, and we’re thankful for the hard work of our front-line health and essential service workers.

"At Patagonia we’ve been able to continue our work from home, to service our customers through our website and use this time to reimagine our business in the future," he said in a post on LinkedIn.

The business' six stores and two outlets will be open from 11am-4pm Monday to Sunday.
