Australian-born jeweller Paspaley has opened a new boutique at MacArthur Central in Brisbane’s CBD.

Previously located at Queens Plaza, the new MacArthur Central store is almost three times the size. MacArthur Central is located on the corner of Edward and Queen Street and directly adjacent to the Queen Street Mall - which reportedly sees over 65 million visitors a year.

The 229 square metre store has a double-height façade constructed from Italian stone, with over 20 metres of frontage, and will sell the brand’s Australian South Sea Pearls designs and collections.

MacArthur Central is owned and operated by Precision Group. The group’s founder, CEO and MD Shaun Bonett said there is high demand right now from national and international retailers for prime CBD store locations.

“Activity and demand in the Brisbane CBD have been heightened by the 2032 Olympics,” Bonett said.

“With the benefit of the opportunities that this presents, and the continued strength of luxury retail across the globe, we are reimagining MacArthur Central through new additions to our luxury retail offer.”

The surrounding area of the new Paspaley boutique is home to global luxury brands such as Cartier, Gucci, Chanel, Hermes and Mont Blanc.

The bulk of the activity for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics is expected to be within the inner 5-kilometre ring of the city.

Paspaley operates 10 stores Australia-wide.
