David Jones has hosted 65 media and guests at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Tasmania for 'The Art of Entertaining'.

This is the first in a two day series of immersive experiences celebrating its AW19 season, 'The Art of Living'.

Showcasing David Jones’ autumn winter collections across fashion, beauty, food and home, the launch of The Art of Living is a departure from the department store’s traditional new season presentation.

The lunch was hosted by David Jones GM of home Yvonne Stinson and David Jones MD of food Pieter de Wet at MONA’s famed restaurant ‘The Source’.

The Art of Entertaining focused on the retailer’s AW19 food and home offering and provided a setting to highlight Tasmanian providores, local winemakers and artisan distillers.

Guests dined on handcrafted David Jones dinnerware, crockery and glassware, designed in collaboration with Robert Gordon Pottery.

They were presented with a menu designed by MONA Chef Vince Trim and his team, showcasing David Jones’  Tasmanian suppliers.
