Mimco has sounded off on its latest product venture.
Mimco has collaborated with US-based Frends on a five-piece range of statement headphones.
Priced from $299 to $349, the collection features three designs in premium leather and metal materials.
These include Monogromania, featuring the iconic Mimco monogram; Lunar, featuring a hologram cap with pearl detailing and; Pantomime, a racy zebra stripe.
All designs were created in-house by Mimco's Melbourne-based design team.
Mimco managing director Cathryn Wills said the project was an exciting one for the retailer.
"It made perfect sense for us because headphones are now a key accessory – be it for listening to music, hands free mobile conversations or to block out the world around us.
"Working with Frends we have been able to unleash the Mimco design sensibilities onto a premium electronic device."
The range is available in selected Australian, New Zealand and South African boutiques as well as online.
