Julia Torrance Hemingway will front influential buyers, VIP guests and media today.
The Melbourne-based designer is set to showcase her spring/summer 2018 collection at New York Fashion Week.
The exclusive Australia only runway show will take place the Pier 59 Studios, on Manhattan’s Hudson River.
The collection, under her womenswear label Torannce, will feature block colouring with injections of embroidery, sequins and studding.
Delegates can also expect rich reds, coppers and hand-painted prints.
Hemingway said her brand focused on delivering ageless, bold pieces at an affordable price.
“Inspiration is often drawn from vintage classics; our mantra is timelessness, therefore if it’s 30
years old and still a fashionable classic shape, we know it’s perfect."

The newly refurbished Melbourne flagship boutique will reopen later this year, with more sites expected to open in 2018.
