Louis Vuitton has continued its Australian expansion plans, opening a store dedicated entirely to the women’s universe at David Jones’ flagship Elizabeth Street store in Sydney.

Located on the ground floor of the newly renovated department store, the New York Soho concept was chosen to create a modern and stylish space.

The latest ready-to-wear and shoe collections by artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière are on display alongside a bright and colourful textile and accessories area.

The store also features an extensive offer of leather goods including the latest Capucines and Twist models.

Fragrances created by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud are on display along with the newest Jewellery collections.

The interior façade represents the emblematic Louis Vuitton flower and the impressive high ceiling showcases the historic elements of the building.

The interior concept is embellished with furniture designed by local Australian designers including Tom Fereday and Mark Tuckey, as well as art pieces by local photographer Ralph Kerle.

It follows a period of expansion for the brand in Australia.

Louis Vuitton Maison, located at 365 George Street, recently reopened after 12 months of renovations.

Home to Louis Vuitton since 2011, it is made up of four floors housing men's and women's fashion and accessories.
