French costume jewellery brand Les Nereides is set to extend its global retail footprint to Australia.
Les Nereides is scheduled to open its first concept store in Paddington, Sydney in November.
Love Persimmon is the sole Australian and New Zealand distributor of the brand, which is stocked via lovepersimmon.com.au and selected retailers including Fleur Wood.
Founded by Pascale and Enzo Amaddeo in 1980, Les Nereides has sites in the UK, Italy, Japan, Belgium, Hong Kong and mainland China.
Les Nereides' Paddington store will launch with the autumn/winter 2012/13 range, priced from $50.
The whimsical brand is known for producing quirky accessories, with categories spanning rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces and bracelets.
Les Nereides' younger sister brand N2 is also distributed in the market by Love Persimmon.
The Paddington store will house a separate showroom for wholesalers.
