Celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson has launched her own footwear brand, ahead of the spring racing season.

Wilkinson said her work with commercial and private clients allowed her to identify a gap in the footwear market.

“Shoes are the foundation to any outfit when it comes to styling," she explained.

“But as I was styling clients for events, I was finding it increasingly difficult to find the footwear I had in mind and stylish options that were both aspirational and affordable were particularly limited.”

Wilkinson’s inaugural collection will include nine signature styles, with 15 variations.

Priced between $259.95 - $289.95, the collection will be available to purchase from 7pm today.

The colour palette includes bright hues in orange and rich magenta, as well as monochromes and metallics.

Key styles include strappy constructions, stud detailing and simple sandal shapes that subtly reference the late ‘90s.

The sling back silhouette anchors the collection, with pops of jewellery-box embellishments, gem-set adornments and glass-like perspex.

Every shoebox will be signed off with the “Styled by Lana Wilkinson” trademark.
