Australian luggage brand July has unveiled its official suitcase for the Australian Olympic Team before they head to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games.

Designed by July’s team in Melbourne, the suitcase spotlights the 1956 Melbourne Olympics with a cream colourway, gold hardware and leather handles. Campaign imagery were shot on film against the backdrop of Melbourne University, which was a training ground for the ‘56 Games.

"Inspired by our country’s rich sporting heritage, the custom Olympics team case embodies a fusion of tradition and contemporary style,” July founder Athan Didaskalou said. “We're so excited to support our Aussie athletes and ensure they have the best luggage on their Olympic journey.”

Founded in 2019, July was selected as an official team supplier for this year’s games.

Australian Olympic Team Chef de Mission Anna Meares thanked July for the new baggage.

“This is a beautifully designed piece for Australian Olympic Team members to proudly use during the Games and in years to come,” Meares said.

“Receiving your Olympic bag is always a special moment, and seeing these designs and the thought put into it by the team at July, I know our athletes in Paris will truly appreciate it.”

July operates eight stores across Australia, and holds 11 exclusive stockist accounts globally in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Malaysia.
