Queensland University of Technology (QUT) has once again teamed up with Seoul National University to offer fashion brands its cultural exchange program.
This year the 'Australia-Korea Foundation Emerging Designer Program' will be open to all budding designers and brands looking to expand, from both Australia and Korea.
The 2018 program follows on from the success of last year's, which saw three Australian and three Korean designers fast-tracking their emerging brands.
This was through the exposure to each other, industry in both countries, retailers and mentors.
In 2018, the successful applicants will once again be offered the chance to travel to South Korea, with exposure to trade events, local industry and workshops all on the program.
The brands will also be given the opportunity to showcase at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival in late August 2018 and travel to Seoul for Fashion Week.
QUT is now calling for fashion start-ups to submit their work for selection. Submission can be made via the QUT website.
Applications close October 30, 2017.
