Anthropologie, Les Galeries Lafayette and Luisa Via Roma are all heading to Australia.

The retailers are part of a global buying contingent heading to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia next month.

Revolve Clothing, Net-A-Porter, Shopbop, Farfetch, Asos, My Theresa, Avenu 32, Forward, Goop and LN-CC are also part of the power lineup.

IMG Fashion director of strategy Emily Weight said Australia is generating hufe interest from global retailers and media.

"Now more than ever, members of the global fashion industry are looking for a unique product to set them apart from other boutiques and retailers, and they see the Australian designer collections as a key offering to their customer base."

Shopbop buyer Jenny Fuchs said the event is a key destination for the etailer.

"It affords us the opportunity to work closely with new and existing Australian designers and to see firsthand how the Australian fashion customer is reacting to and interpreting trends into her wardrobe."

In addition to top retailers, representatives from renowned publications that will be in attendance include Harper’s BAZAAR (US), Marie Claire (US), Seventeen Magazine (US) Cosmopolitan (US), W Magazine (US) PORTER Magazine (UK), as well as online platforms such as Buro 24/7, Style.com and The Coveteur.

Global fashion influencer Vanessa Hong of The Haute Pursuit will attend the event for the first time.

Street style photographers Lee Oliveria and Phil Oh, who is snapping for Sunglass Hut, will also be in Sydney to capture all the trends both on and off the runway.
