After 22 years designing couture and ready-to-wear wedding gowns, Lisa Gowing is looking to sell the business.
Gowing is set to transition into Lisa Gowing Home, a new homewares and property styling business.
The move will see her relocate to Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast at the end of the school year.
"I have a design studio in place at the Noosa home and from there I will launch my new Lisa Gowing Home collection in 2020," she said.
"I am currently designing my own homewares and jewellery pieces to stand alongside a carefully curated selection of beautiful homewares and lifestyle products."
Gowing will retain her brand name and sell the entire infrastructure of the business.
This includes:
* SHOWROOM FIT - OUT with over 40 gowns on racks.
* WORKROOM FIT-OUT with full size cutting table, press, industrial machine, overlocker and other equipment.
* PATTERN LIBRARY for the past 22 years Ready-To-Wear and Couture patterns.
* RENT for both the spaces coming to $19,000 p.a.
Gowing said she would also pass on all supplier and manufacturer contacts.
"This opportunity in itself is a huge drawcard as I have personally trained these dressmakers in the high-end Couture techniques required for bridal manufacture and there is no other bridal factory of this level currently operating in Sydney.
"I am not asking much for this sale as ideally I would love to see a graduate or young designer take up this wonderful opportunity for a jump start into the industry."
