Australian womenswear resort brand [et cetera] Woman has launched with its first collection, focused on an island life concept.
The brand, founded by Karyn Westren has grown in the last five years from a capsule collection into a complete retail and wholesale operation.
Westren said the collection, which has launched into premium boutiques throughout Sydney's eastern suburbs has already experienced strong sell-through.
“ACO sold their first order within one week and again when we restocked them. It’s challenging keeping up with demand, but it’s reassuring to know that women love and appreciate our unique concept.
“Our plan is to continue to grow the business organically whilst retaining the covetable ‘limited-edition’ appeal each hand-crafted piece offers.
"In a mass-produced world I am determined to strike this balance, as I would like more women to experience wearing our authentic pieces, particularly in key resort and holiday destinations, as the product is perfect for this market.”
