New Australian womenswear label Clea is readying to launch its first collection into David Jones next week.

Founded by Natasha Gordon, the premium label offers a collection of classic pieces and wardrobe staples that have been designed for longevity.

Gordon designs with the planet in mind and manufacturers Clea garments locally in Melbourne where possible.

And even before its first collection launch, the brand has already been recognised as one to watch, being named a finalist in the National Designer Awards.

Clea will launch into David Jones with its winter collection which features wool, alpaca wool, Japanese triacetate, lace details and crepe knit pieces.

"Clea honours a fresh balance of merging elements; masculine and feminine, textural and clean, strength and softness, intricate and minimal," Gordon said of the brand.

Designed in house, each embroidery feature begins with a hand drawn sketch and is brought to life by specialised artisans.

Clea will launch into David Jones on April 01 2022.
