Cue has unveiled its latest addition to its mobile website with a new visual search technology that allows shoppers to upload images from their phone to search for new styles and products.

The announcement revealed that 70% of the brand's website traffic came through mobile devices with mobile purchases representing the biggest source of the company's online revenue.

The 'Style Finder' technology works through the website's mobile search function and also allows customers to take live photos to allow shoppers to match their styles against the brand's range.

Cue CIO Shane Lenton said the technology was designed to enhance customer experience and cater to mobile trends.

“Innovation is at the core of everything we do at Cue, so we are always looking at ways to embrace new technologies and improve the customer shopping experience.

“This technology is just the start of what we're working on at Cue and we're looking forward to introducing exciting new innovations over the next few months.”

The technology was developed in partnership with Alibaba Cloud and utilises customer results and product matches over time to improve its algorithms for future searches.
