Cotton On Group has opened its doors to the company's biggest flagship store to date.

The 2,623sqm in the Mall of Africa, South Africa features multiple Cotton On Group brands including Cotton On, Cotton On Kids, Cotton On Body, Rubi and Free.

Key features include a kids play zone, DJ deck, pop-up record store and barber shop.

The retailer has also opened separate standalone stores in the mall for youthwear brand Factorie and stationary brand Typo.

Cotton On Group South Africa country manager Johan van Wyk said that the region has emerged as one of its strongest markets.

"Our South African operations have reported double-digit growth every month since opening our first store here in 2011.

“The region is a key contributor to reaching our overall growth target of 20% year on year.”

The retailer will aim to open 350 stores in South Africa over the next three years.
