New York accessories brand Coach has reopened its Chadstone store with a new luxury concept.

Coach Southeast Asia & Oceania GM Emmanuel Ruelland praised the redeveloped Melbourne site.

"We are confident that our new store environment, showcasing Coach’s rich legacy and commitment to craftsmanship, along with products designed by Stuart Vevers, will be a destination for the discerning Australian shopper and the International tourists visiting the region."

According to Tourism Research Australia, Chinese holiday makers spent $7.72 billion in the 12 months to November.

Of the total Chinese outlay, the $1.3 billion ­Chinese spent on shopping accounted for 37% of all spending on shopping by international visitors.

The redeveloped Coach Chadstone store has been designed by Coach executive creative director Stuart Vevers.

The 341 square meter space includes a curated selection of bags from the Coach Archives and a Craftsmanship Bar (pictured) offering leather care, cleaning, and monogramming.

The store carries a a wide assortment of Coach merchandise for women and men, including handbags, small leather goods, footwear, scarves and jewelry, as well as the Coach 1941 ready-to-wear collection.
