BRW Young Rich Lister Dorry Kordahi has acquired a 50% stake in Swanky Socks.
This is the latest acquisition in a spate of fashion buyouts by Kordahi, managing director of clothing company DKM Blue.
Purchased brands include Zambelli, Alchemist, China Doll, Isay and Studibaker.
Kordahi said his latest purchase was the result of a successful five minute pitch by founder Tom Lawrence.
In mid-2016, Swanky Socks established a sock give-back program and has partnered with organisations including Mission Australia.
"Swanky has already been making some good progress in the market," said Kordahi said.
"But this partnership will fast-track the whole enterprise.
"For me, buying any company is about finding synergies with the ones I presently own.
"My company, DKM Blue, has a very solid and well-funded infrastructure which I have spent years perfecting. Swanky is a good fit, and I know I can do a lot for it."
