Fashion tech start-up GlamCorner has recorded its most successful year to date.

Launched in 2012, the platform enables women to rent luxury garments at a fraction of the retail price.

In 2017, GlamCorner’s business quadrupled in size, renting out the retail equivalent of $30 million of designer clothing so far.

That figure is predicted to reach $40-50 million by years-end, with GlamCorner’s business doubling in size in the last three months alone.

GlamCorner now stock over 5000 dresses from over 200 designer labels, figures that stood at just 800 and 60 respectively at the beginning of 2016.

GlamCorner currently employs 50 staff to loan out thousands of dresses each week, a figure that has increased more than six-fold since early 2016.

The 2017 racing season saw 5 times the number of rentals as the same period last year, with tens of thousands of Australian women collectively saving $8-10 million of retail clothing.

GlamCorner is the brainchild of husband and wife duo Dean Jones and Audrey Khaing-Jones.

Both Dean and Audrey left high-flying careers in finance to pursue their fashion start-up dream.
