Kit and Ace Australia has appointed voluntary administrators.
The international womenswear retailer will close seven stores across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland over the coming week.
This includes Melbourne's Chadstone, Fitzory and Prahran sites as well as Sydney's Bondi Junction and CBD store.
Queensland's Brisbane and Gold Coast stores will also close as part of the fallout.
Deloitte has been appointed to manage the administration.
The move is part of a global closure of showrooms across the US, UK and Australia.
The Canada-based parent company will retain its eCommerce platform and domestic operations.
