Amazon Fashion has launched The Drop, a concept revealed at Ragtrader Live Sydney.

The line, which was released at 2am in Australia, is a disruptive collaboration between Amazon and nominated influencers.

The first range has been created with Paola Alberdi and is now live, with customers able to shop the range via the Amazon App or mobile browser.

The limited edition venture is only available to shop within a 30 hour time frame.

All garments will then be made to order based on sales.

Speaking at Ragtrader Live, Amazon Fashion's Angela Langmann told audiences the venture is a first for the business.

"It's a worldwide program which is a feat in of itself. The Drop is looking at what our customers are telling us - that a major trend is influencers and social media."

In addition to The Drop’s limited edition collections, Amazon will also offer Staples by The Drop featuring wardrobe basics.

Staples by The Drop will be available all the time via the Amazon App, mobile browser or desktop.

All Amazon customers have access to The Drop collections – it is available globally in more than 100 countries and regions.

Additional fashion influencers designing for The Drop include but are not limited to: Emi Suzuki, Sierra Furtado, Leonie Hanne and Patricia Bright.

Customers have been encouraged to sign up for SMS alerts to prepare for future drops.
