Aje is forging ahead with international growth, teaming with global partners for its Afterpay Australian Fashion Week (AAFW) show.

To bring the Resort 2023 collection to life, Aje partnered with London-based creative event agency Studio Boum. The design concept saw the landscape brought indoors for its show at The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.

Aje CEO Adrian Norris said the decision to select global partners reflects the womenswear brand’s direction.

“The last two years have provided us the unique opportunity to expand our growth in Australia to 22 Aje and 9 Aje Athletica boutiques across Australia and New Zealand while servicing 75 countries internationally through wholesale and ecommerce,” he said.

“Our show collaborations with stylist Ashlee Barrett-Bourmier and Studio Boum, alongside music by Dan Lywood, are organic continuations of our focus on global.”

After its Resort 2022 show, Aje picked up 16 new international stockists including Harrods, Browns and Galeries Lafayette.

In March, it unveiled its first physical space in London, opening a pop-up inside Harrods.

The Resort 23 collection featured 40 looks and showcased the breadth of Aje’s ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories and jewellery categories.
