Vogue’s Online Shopping Night (VOSN) will return this month following the success of its debut event in June.
On November 30, in a bid to drive online retail sales in the lead-up to Christmas, dozens of traders will offer special deals online to attract customers.
Many brands and shopping sites took part in the inaugural VOSN on June 8 and more than 35,000 unique browsers visited Vogue.com.au between 5pm and midnight. An additional 6,000 fans also signed up to Vogue Australia’s Facebook page over the course of the campaign.
Mark Kelly, group publisher of lifestyle at News Magazines, said more than 80 brands and shopping sites will take part in the second VOSN.
“Participating retailers reported a huge spike in daily online traffic and sales, so it made sense to throw our support behind fashion brands and shopping e-tailers once again by hosting Australia’s biggest online shopping event in the lead-up to Christmas,” Kelly said.
At the Vogue Australia media hub the team from Vogue Australia and Vogue.com.au will join some of Australia’s leading designers including Akira Isogawa, Leona Edmiston and Josh Goot.
They will create a constant stream of tweets, interviews and content promoting the night’s best special offers and Christmas gift ideas.
Participating retailers, e-tailers and labels include David Jones, Alannah Hill, Sportsgirl, Saba, Forever New, My Catwalk, Karen Millen, Georg Jensen and Mecca Cosmetica.
