As Vogue Fashion's Night Out (Sydney) prepares to launch this Thursday, ragtrader.com.au offers an insight into what activations are planned for Westfield CBD.
As first reported in Ragtrader magazine, the retail giant has signed a one-year corporate sponsorship deal with Vogue Fashion's Night Out (VFNO).
Live Djs, a Vogue lounge, Masterchef cook-offs and other live demonstrations are set to take place across the six-level complex. Specific retail activations will also include:
Coast
UK High Street retailer Coast will host a London garden party to celebrate the arrival of its spring/summer collection. A live installation will also take part in its fashion windows.
DKNY
From 5pm, live street art with be created in the store windows of DKNY's Sydney flagship. Consumers can grab a Polaroid shot to remember the evening and go in the draw to win a $1000 DKNY jeans gift voucher. A store-wide 20 per cent discount will also be offered on the latest spring/summer range.
ck Calvin Klein
ck Calvin Klein will featrure a live model installation in its store, with music by DJ Sammy Cooper and a signature ck Calvin Klein cocktail served throughout the evening. A special gift will be offered to consumers with each purchase. The brand will offer 20 per cent off items in-store, excluding watches and jewelery.
100 Squared
To launch the spring/summer season, designer space 100 Squared will transform into a flower market. Filled with floral displays, 100 Squared will also offer patrons single flowers, courtesy of Poho florist in Potts Point. Aperol Spritz will provide a pop-up bar, Santa Vittoria will provide mineral water, and a live acoustic performance will take place from 5.30pm by Kym Campbell.
Karen Millen
Karen Millen has organised a global
sequence of 30 events in 30 cities as part of VFNO. It will pre-release
its limited edition 30th anniversary range, with Sydney's event
including a DJ performance by Anna Lunoe and 30 limited edition items
offered to the first VFNO attendees. It will also screen its
spring/summer behind-the-scenes film and release interactive iPad access
to its digital flagship store. A gift bag containing a limited-edition
Karen Millen 30th birthday gift and the Vogue September issue will be
handed to the first 50 guests (gift with purchase). To cap off the
showcase, there will be a 30th birthday cake, champagne and canapes.
Little Joe Woman
A glass of Lauren-Perrier champagne will be served as guests shop the 'Love in Exile' spring/summer 2011 collection. Consumers will receive a Little Jo Woman wrist band and a gift from Lancome with all purchases.
Mulberry
To celebrate the rural countryside feel of its autumn/winter 2011 collection, the Mulberry store will be merchandised with eclectic English touches while guests sip on berry mojitos, toadstool cupcakes and partake in “frivolous” face paintings and goodie bags.
Prada
Prada will offer its new fragrance Prada Candy in a limited-edition set exclusively for VFNO. Champagne will be served in-store from 6pm as customers have the option to purchase the $190 set on September 8.
Sambag
Sambag will offer 15 per cent off its summer 2011/12 collection and a gift for purchases over $400. All purchases on the night will receive an exclusive Bobbi Brown gift and a voucher to receive a makeup consultation valued at $75. Sambag founder and designer Sam Wagner will be in-store to talk through the latest collection whilst guests partake in French champagne and canapes.
Swarovski
Swarovski will stage a celebrity-inspired evening, with customers offered the chance to have their picture taken on the red carpet with its crystal power bag. An exclusive cocktail list has been created to match its latest jewelery collection. Special gifts and a lucky door prize will be offered with every purchase, with a chance to win two power bags valued at $1550 each.
