Earlier this week, www.ragtrader.com.au reported on key High Street retail activations for Vogue Fashion's Night Out (VFNO). Luxury traders have also raised the stakes for the September 8 event.
Below is a snapshot of just some retail initiatives in the pipeline:
Bally 181 Pitt Street
Bally will offer consumers in-store entertainment courtesy of DJ Emily Scott, with Courvoisier cognac, desserts and Swiss Punch served throughout the evening. To celebrate 160 years of Bally, the brand will also offer the chance to win a luxurious exotic skin bag on the night.
Miu Miu, Westfield Sydney Corner of Market Street and Castlereagh Street
Miu Miu will launch its iconic fall/winter 2011 mini bag collection during VFNO. The 40s inspired miniature clutches will be available in four styles and are replicas of their oversized counterparts. Champagne will also be served in-store from 6pm.
Dinosaur Designs Strand Arcade, Pitt Street
Creative directors and designers Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy will offer styling tips as guests are treated to champagne. The brand will also be offering limited edition, hand made pendants for the first 50 consumers who make a purchase on the night.
Paspaley 2 Martin Place
Paspaley's flagship boutique will host a "Pearls, Pimms and Polo" evening during VFNO. Australian and New Zealand polo players will be on hand as customers indulge in canapés, mixed cocktails and go in the draw to win a pair of pearl earrings. Two tickets to its marquee at 'Paspaley Polo in the City' (November 19) will also be up for grabs.
Tiffany & Co. 28 Castlereagh Street
Tiffany & Co will be known as Tiffany's Studio 57 during VFNO, as the boutique harks back to the glamorous era of the 1970s. A photographer will be on hand to take photos of guests, with a Studio 54 themed backdrop and a DJ spinning 70s inspired tracks in-store.
Leona Edminston, Westfield Sydney
Consumers will have the opportunity to sign up to Leona Edmiston's VIP database, allowing them to access exclusive offers and 10 per cent discounts on full-price items. A free pair of Pins will be offered for any purchase over $150 on the night, while guests can also gain access to the Leona Lounge (hosted by The Victoria Room Tea Salon) by shopping on the night. The lounge will host a range of pampering services and give customers the chance to meet Leona Edmiston.
