Fashion brands have had to flip their businesses to a 100% online model, since all non-essential stores were forced to close last month.

According to data firm SEMrush, this has seen increased investment in paid search advertising.

SEMRush marketing SVP Maxim Roslyakov said retailers are relying on eCommerce to drive revenue at this time.

“In order to attract customers to their online stores, there has been a significant increase in the amount of spending on search advertising by all of the major clothing brands in Australia,” he said.
