Australian artists now have the opportunity to make their art more visible with the help of newly launched Australian brand Consequence of Change.

The brand champions artists by transferring their prints or illustrations onto 550-gsm cotton canvas tote bags.

Founded by Beverley Johnson who has 15 years of experience in the fashion industry including roles at Kmart, Pacific Brands (Hanes) and Jeanswest, the brand's range features drawstring pocket bags, tote bags, belt bags and overnight bags.

The debut collection launched with a limited-edition range with only twenty available in each style.

In a statement, Johnson said that the brand was founded by the concept of 'moving canvas.'

"I am at my happiest when I am surrounded by art. I want to bring that happiness and joy to people by sharing my passion.

"Each bag is a work of art. A bag to admire on the train, tuck under your arm, swing across your shoulder, or carry on your back. An original piece just for you, because we believe art should be taken everywhere," she said.

Alongside supporting Australian artists, the brand will also enable customers to donate $1 from every sale to a charity through the I=Change platform.

The debut collection ranges in price from $50-$90 and launched on the Consequence of Change website on August 28.
