Fashion brand Saba will launch a 2011 Christmas campaign with a twist today.
The campaign, which will include Saba's first ever online Christmas Gift Guide, will see $5 for every $50 spent on gift cards donated to Inala, a Rudolf Steiner organisation which helps individuals with disabilities.
The online Christmas Gift Guide will sync with the in-store Saba Gift Card campaign, which will allow customers to purchase Christmas gift cards via the brands e-store or at a Saba outlet.
The gift ideas, put together by Saba, are split into categories – for him, for her, for me – and will be priced under $100, with the campaign set to run up until December 31.
Saba general manager, Inger Adamson, said the campaign partnership with Inala was a way for the brand to contribute to a worthy cause during the Christmas period.
“At a time of the year when we are encouraged to think about others, we are delighted to be working with Inala in a collaboration that will make a significant difference in the lives of people who have so much to offer to the community,” she said.
As part of the campaign, regular Saba customers will also receive a 25 per cent discount on all online and in-store purchases during the the first two weeks of the Gift Guide promotional period, with VIP's eligible to win a holiday to Vanuatu via Saba Facebook ‘like’ promotion.
Saba's investment in a debut online Christmas Gift Guide and Facebook marketing also marks another modern step forward for the brand, following a national store revamp to give the label a more contemporary and edgy image.
As reported in Ragtrader [September 23], the revamp saw online kiosks and ipads introduced into the refurbished Collins Street Melbourne Saba outlet, with the concept to roll out progressively into selected stores over the next few months.
