Australian footwear label Rollie has unveiled its first-ever collection of sneakers.

The new sneaker collection is comprised of 10 low and high-top styles for women and features materials including sequins, leopard and zebra prints, vegetable tanned leathers and pops of neon.

This collection is the first of four sneaker drops that Rollie will release across 2020, which will feature styles for both men and women.

Rollie founder and Pensole-trained head designer Vince Lebon said that the launch represents more than just having a sneaker offering.

"This sneaker launch is a huge milestone for both Rollie, and for me personally.

"Many brands release new styles to captialise on a trend – but for me, sneaker design is a craft I’ve been practicing and perfecting for years.

"I truly believe an Australian designed sneaker can stand alongside global sneaker brands," he said.

Lebon is no stranger to sneaker design, after spending the past three years in New York, working alongside sneaker royalty D’Wayne Edwards (founder of Pensole Footwear Academy).

He has designed shoes for celebrities including James Harden, Macklemore, Stan Smith and Ashley Graham and has received numerous accolades in the industry.

Beginning in a Melbourne market stall eight years ago, Rollie has become a footwear brand loved all over the world.

The Rollie sneaker collection is available now on the Rollie website and retails for between $199.95-$229.95.
