Yesterday morning, Australian fashion pioneer Carla Zampatti was honoured at a State Funeral in Sydney's St Mary’s Cathedral.
Her children, Bianca Spender, Allegra Spender and Alexander Schuman gave an impassioned address to the hundreds gathered to remember her.
Dame Quentin Bryce also gave an address to the crowd, remembering the feminist and fiercely ambitious spirit of Zampatti.
Zampatti died on April 03 after a fall at an outdoor opera event.
She is survived by her three children and nine grandchildren.
