Australian-born swimwear brand Okanui has opened a flagship store at Bondi Beach, along the main road adjacent.
The new store will stock Okanui’s full range of men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel, including its signature classic shorts, an expanded women’s collection, and the latest winter menswear range. According to the brand, the winter range is already gaining strong momentum this season.
“We’re incredibly proud to be opening in Bondi — a place that embodies everything Okanui stands for,” CEO Simon Kasprowicz said.
“This store is more than just a retail space. It’s a reflection of our heritage and connection to the Australian coastline, and we’re excited to bring the full Okanui experience to the Bondi community.”
To mark the opening, Okanui hosted an exclusive launch event over the weekend, partnering with local cafe Harries Coffee and welcoming ambassadors, media, and close community to attend.
The retail brand was founded in 1978 and remains family-owned. The brand has reportedly experienced rapid growth in recent years, both locally and internationally. This recently led the brand to doubling the size of its warehouse alongside doubling the size of its retail footprint.
Okanui now has 10 stores across Australia, including the new Bondi store, most located near popular beaches including in Byron Bay, Noosa, Manly, Pacific Fair and Darwin.
