my-wardrobe.com is preparing to launch the latest initiative aimed at capturing Australian market share.
The UK-based designer portal, which has had a dedicated Australian country manager since March 2011, will introduce a localised currency tool in a bid to create more tailored platforms for key global markets.
As reported in Ragtrader's November 2011 edition, founder and current chief executive Sarah Curran is on the hunt for a new global CEO to spearhead this international growth.
"The Australian market is the fastest growing region of the my-wardrobe.com business," she told Ragtrader.
"We are seeking a global CEO because my-wardrobe.com is becoming a global business and that person will need to take it to the next level."
my-wardrobe.com reportedly saw an increase in Australian sales of 113 per cent in the six months to November, 2011.
The portal sells "everyday luxury" brands such as D&G, By Malene Birger, Mulberry, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Acne.
my-wardrobe.com is also scouting local brands to drive its relationship with the Australian market, capitalising on recent marketing partnerships with consumer titles such as Marie Claire and vogue.com.au.
