Just two years after starting her own swimwear label Lisa Maree Boersma is planning her assault on Asia.
The Bondi local and former model, who has collections throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the USA, said she now plans to expand her swim and ready to wear lines to Asia.
Not content with signing her Lisa Maree label to online designer fashion store Net-A-Porter, in the UK and USA, Boersma said she wants to continue expanding.
Boersma, who has been busy creating her winter 2012 collection, said: “Everything has happened so rapidly over the past couple of years.
'I'm a graphic designer by profession and started with T-shirt designs and then things just ballooned.
“I have just opened a London office and I am now hoping to be in Asia within the next six months.”
All of her silk items are manufactured in India and swimwear is manufactured in Asia.
Swimwear price points range from $120 - $165 and ready to wear costs between $139 - $350.
