Ksubi has offered a free pair of denim jeans to customers who have Ksubi-inspired tattoos.

The one-day initiative was hosted on April 2, with the streetwear retailer claiming it as Ksubi Ink Day.

The initiative came about as staff noticed an influx of consumers showing their own Ksubi ink - tattoos featuring the brand’s iconography including its box-crosses, no-dollar sign and 4x4 cross pattern.

“Our greatest fans never cease to amaze me,” Ksubi CEO Craig King said. “We are often tagged with images of crew with Ksubi tattoos so we thought we need to reward these guys for their love.

“Who knew there were more than 200 of them out there.”

To claim the reward, consumers had to enter one of the brand’s retail locations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and London on April 2 and show staff their Ksubi ink. Those based outside of these locations could register online.

Established in 1999 in Sydney, Australia, Ksubi is a high-end casual streetwear brand that expanded globally, with the US being its current primary market.

Its stockist base includes luxury retailers in the US and in the UK.
