Earlier this week, lifestyle brand Paul Frank officially launched its new spring/summer collection at the Opera Point Marquee at Sydney Opera House, with a combined fashion parade and cocktail party.

The label, first established in 1997 as an independent accessories company in a Southern California beach town, has now evolved into a diverse global brand with a spring/summer range comprising of apparel, sleepwear and fashion accessories for all ages, plus stationery and gardening accessories.

Guests, including Sydney’s media, fashion, celebrity and social set savoured on Aria catering and Matt Moran’s canapés, while sipping on champagne as Paul Frank celebrated the unveiling of its spring/summer collections with an exclusive runway show and preview of the latest range.

Commenting on the launch, Kirk Bloomgarden, SVP of International Licensing for Saban Brands, which owns the Paul Frank property, said he believes the brand has a bright future in the local market.

”We are thrilled to be bringing the global lifestyle brand, Paul Frank, to Australian consumers. The cross-generational and gender appeal makes this a must have brand for everyone on the shopping list. We could not be happier to partner with Big W on this launch, they are the perfect home for this fun, fresh and irreverent brand,” he said.

As previously reported on ragtrader.com.au, Paul Frank collections and merchandise will be available in Big W stores nationwide from this month with Haven Licensing will act as the Australian representative for the Paul Frank brand.
