Fashion Revolution has had to make adjustments amid the current pandemic.

The ethical fashion event, which runs from April 20 to April 26, campaigns for a clean, safe, fair, transparent and accountable fashion industry.

The week's events will be made up of online webinars, interviews, panel sessions, studio tours and workshops.

Australian brands that are set to demonstrate their support for the movement throughout the week include David Jones, The Iconic, Spell & The Gypsy Collective, Citizen Wolf, Ethical Clothing Australia and personal supporters Holly Ryan and Kit Willow.

Citizen Wolf has already revealed that it will take its annual Fashion Revolution workshop online, equipping viewers with a DIY Remote Tote Kit, video tutorial and live stream a sew-along.

The 2020 campaign is broadly focused on four pillars; Consumption, Composition, Conditions and Collective Action.

Alongside its long-standing, #WhoMadeMyClothes? hashtag, the organisation has introduced a new one, #WhatsInMyClothes?, which aims to raise awareness about the hidden substances in garments.

Fashion Revolution co-founder and global operations director Carry Somers said that now is a key time to hold brands responsible.

"In the midst of this global pandemic, the need for citizens to hold brands and retailers to account is more pressing than ever before.

"Over the past weeks, we have seen the devastating impact of brands’ buying practices on some of the most vulnerable workers overseas.

"Now, more than ever, we need to keep asking #whomademyclothes and hold these brands, many of whom have made immense profits in recent years, to account for their actions."
