Instagram Australia is launching a world-first, in-app shopping event: InstaNight Shopping to celebrate the release of a Shop tab.
Featuring sales and one-night-only product drops from Australian brands, InstaNight Shopping kicks off the holiday shopping season on Thursday 3 December from 6:00pm.
Today’s launch of Instagram’s dedicated Shop tab makes it easier for Australians to purchase directly from brands.
The Shop tab also features personalised recommendations, fresh product collections, editor’s picks curated by @shop, shoppable IGTV videos, and more.
From 6:00pm on Thursday 3 December, major Australian retailers, household brands and small businesses around the country will share an exclusive offer on Instagram, which could include:
● A unique product drop, such as a limited sneaker release from Culture Kings and BANGN BODY’s Bundle of the Month
● A one-off discount, including 20% off purchases over $100 with Country Road and 15% off a year’s supply of gel refills, gifts and set ranges with HiSmile
● A gift with purchase, including a free Barcelona leather purse by The Wanderers and a complimentary phone case from Maison De Sabre.
Today, Instagram also launches the Reels tab, creating a new dedicated space to enjoy short- form video content and discover new Reels creators.
