A national retailer with over 130 stores is set to make its e-commerce debut, complete with a multichannel strategy which integrates new and existing sales platforms.
Accessories chain eQUIP has launched its first online store via www.equipaccessories.com.au.
Managing director Rory Crawford said this expansion is a "significant" tool to add to its existing social media channels and network of over 130 stores.
“In a world where fashion disseminates so quickly our new online store and omnichannel approach will allow customers to get a daily fashion fix from eQUIP.
While we value the bricks and mortar of our company, we can see that the online store is integral to the future of the business bringing added value both in sales and new customers.”
eQuip will use both channels to offer delivery options; direct delivery and store pick-up.
Direct delivery fees for small accessories such as jewellery and hair items will be priced at $3.99 while larger items such as handbags will sit at $8.99.
However, both direct and store pick-up options deliver within three to four days.
eQuip's 'Make Me Blush' and 'Olivine' collections will be the first to launch online, with the former referencing vintage elegance and the latter bronzed and olive tones.
Statement pieces include the Make Me Blush diamante collar ($29.99) and the Olivine snakeskin gold torque ($22.99).
Winter accessories such as scarves, beanies and gloves will also be available on the e-commerce site.
