Women's activewear label Lorna Jane has launched a fresh Facebook application to support the brand's latest campaign.
The 'You Look Fit' Facebook application, which launched this week, allows users to tag friends’ photos with pre-selected positive affirmations, supporting the brand’s most recent campaign, 'A Brave New Active World'.
Founder and creative director Lorna Jane Clarkson said the application was the natural next step for the brand to build on its social networking capabilities, following the success of its interactive Facebook video campaign, 'The Year of You' which launched last month.
“With each new month, Lorna Jane continues to evolve and strengthen its message of active living to women. 'A Brave New Active World' was a natural progression from our previous campaign, 'The Year of You: Love Yourself', as we now want to empower women to appreciate and support their friends to lead their best lives,” she said.
“Facebook has most definitely become an integral tool for connecting with our customers, and this is evident from the success of our recent social media campaigns and our number of fans – almost 300,000 now. So, we decided to bring women another interactive and engaging Facebook app, and this time, it’s in the form of complimenting their friends by tagging their photos with inspiring phrases.”
Clarkson revealed users of the 'You Look Fit' application will also go into the draw to win $2,500 cash and a $2,000 Lorna Jane wardrobe, with every tag made counting as an entry
