A swimwear brand with a difference will launch over spring/summer 2013, created under the helm of an experienced garment technician.

Sydney-based Louise Bond will make the move from garment technician to wholesaler when she releases Bikini Atoll through retail stockists from August.

'Collection Number One' will comprise four mini ranges featuring a mix of electric hues, embellishments and cuts ranging from bikinis to wearable maillouts.

The 'Feathers' range features a Spanish fabric printed with striking feathers, teamed with midnight blue and phlox purple hues. Each piece is finished with metal feathers and beads specifically made for swimwear.

The 'Snake' range features shiraz and bright aqua snake print, while 'Neon' pairs bright indigo with sunshine yellow into a product constructed from Italian-made lycra.

The final collection 'Midnight' comprises eight styles in plain black Italian lycra, which each unit embellished with lavish Spanish trims from moulded lycra flowers to fringing.

"Each mini range lends itself to the next through the use of the contiguous plain lycra it is teamed allowing endless possibilities of combinations," Bond said.

"The designs include figure hugging balconette maillots, twist bandeaus, one pieces with daring necklines and gorgeous underwired tankinis."

The range is entirely produced in Australia, with fitted cups, underwires and contour lining completing the offer. The 25 piece swimwear and five piece resort range will retail from $140 to $280.
